Defendant Guilty of Shooting That Partially Blinded Victim

An attempted first-degree murder defendant’s verdict was announced on July 22 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Troy K. Hill.

Terrell Parker was charged with attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, reckless endangerment, two counts of illegal possession of a regulated firearm, having a loaded handgun on his person, having a handgun on his person, illegal possession of ammunition and discharging a firearm within Baltimore City in connection to an incident on April 13, 2023. Parker was found guilty on all counts. 

According to previous coverage, Baltimore Police Department officers responded to a shooting on the 1700 block of Normal Avenue, where they found a victim that was shot in the eye. During the trial, the jury heard testimony from the victim, talking about the incident. They also heard how Parker’s Instagram account connected him to the crime, as it showed him at the crime scene and with the gun used in the shooting.  

His sentencing has not been scheduled yet.
