Defendant Gets Probation After Credit for Time Served

A defendant has been ordered to serve 18 months of supervised probation following completion of an alcohol treatment program.

On Feb. 14, Reginald Allen, 46, pleaded guilty to shooting a gun outside of M&T Bank stadium.

On May 1, Allen was sentenced to one year in prison but with all but time served suspended. As a result, he has completed two weeks of an assigned alcohol treatment program at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. The therapy is scheduled to continue until August 27.

Defense attorney Annice Brown asked Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Kimberly McBride if Allen would be able to attend his daughter’s upcoming graduation. Judge McBride deferred this request to authorities at Upper Chesapeake.
