One of three co-defendants accused in the murder of 33-year-old Antonio Lamont Jackson will remain held without bail after appearing before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Philip S. Jackson on April 29.

Kamar Robinson, who was 18 at the time of the incident, is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to first-degree murder in addition to four weapons charges for his alleged involvement in the fatal shooting shortly after 11 a.m. on the 800 block of N. Bradford Street on June 22, 2019, according to CBS Baltimore.

His co-defendants, Darian Adams and Raquan Baylor, both 26 years old, are also facing murder and weapons charges and are scheduled to join Robinson for trial on Dec. 5.

On Friday, the now 20-year-old defendant joined his defense attorney, Bradley MacFee, who requested his client be released on home detention to live with his mother.

MacFee stressed that Robinson has been incarcerated nearly two years since his arrest, which occurred almost a year after the shooting. The defendant’s trial was originally scheduled for February 2022 but was delayed because of the court’s suspension of jury trials earlier this year due to COVID.

The defense attorney reiterated that his client was not a flight risk.

Robinson’s criminal history includes a handgun violation and drug possession with the intent to distribute conviction from February 2020, with his probation set to expire in February 2023.

Given the allegations, Judge Jackson said he could find no reason to release the defendant and denied his bail.
