Citizen Flags Down Officers Following Shooting in Northern District

On April 23, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Northern District officers for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were patrolling the 500 block of East 34th Street when they were flagged down by a citizen who stated someone was shot.

Officers were able to locate an unidentified male victim lying on a porch suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital by a medic and listed in stable condition.

Northern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northern District shooting detectives at 410-396-2455.
