Charles Village Incident Removed From Non-Fatal Shooting Count

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) has removed a January Charles Village shooting incident from the 2025 count for non-fatal shootings. 

On Jan. 23, at approximately 6:34 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 100 block of W. 25th Street for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 35-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot during an altercation in the 100 block of W. 25th Street.
