Central District Report Non-Fatal Shooting on McMechen Street

On March 28, at approximately 3:15 p.m., Central District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPS) responded to the 1600 block of Madison Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 45-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his body. The victim was transported by medics to an area hospital for treatment.

Central District shooting detectives responded, assumed control over the investigation and located a crime scene in the 300 block of McMechen Street.
