Central District Officers Respond to Non-Fatal Shooting on West Lanvale Street

On June 27, at approximately 5:24 p.m., officers with the Baltimore Police Department responded to the intersection of West Lanvale Street and North Fremont Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 49-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital to receive treatment.

Preliminary Investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 800 block of West Lanvale Street.

Central District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
