Central District Officers Open Investigation Into W. Saratoga Street Homicide

On Sept. 14,  at approximately 11:39 p.m., Central District officers with the Baltimore Police Department were on patrol when they heard discharging on the 400 block of W. Saratoga Street.

Officers canvassed the area and located two adult males suffering from gun shot wounds. 

Medics transported the victims to area hospital, where one of the adult male victims, Dewan Holmes, a 35-year-old, was pronounced deceased. The other victim, a 26-year-old male, is listed in stable condition.

Homicide investigators were summoned and assumed control over the investigation.
