The trial for a 2021 Daytona Avenue attempted murder received a nolle pros on July 12 before Baltimore City Circuit Judge Myshala E. Middleton

Jeremiah Jackson’s defense counsel and the prosecution were unable to share a reason for the nolle pros with Baltimore Witness.

Jackson, 18, was charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, firearm possession as a minor, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, having a handgun on his person, discharging a firearm and illegal ammunition possession in connection to a Dec. 27, 2021 incident.

The charges stem from a shooting that occurred on the 4400 block of Daytona Avenue at a construction site. The victim was shot 10 times and spoke with police about the incident.

The victim told officers that he knew the shooter by the name “Man Man” and was able to identify “Man Man” as the defendant based on an Instagram photo.
