The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) ruled a March 28 shooting self-inflicted and removed it from the non-fatal shooting count.
The shooting occurred at approximately 11:32 a.m. in the 4600 block of Stanwood Avenue.
A 16-year-old female victim was located suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was transported to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.
Northeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
