The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a Northern District homicide investigation.
On Jan. 24, at approximately 11:26 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
At the location of the incident, officers located a 36-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was immediately taken into surgery. Despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased.
Preliminary investigations revealed the victim was shot by an unidentified suspect while in the 3000 block of Oakley Avenue.
