BPD Arrests 19-Year-Old Attempted Murder Suspect

On March 19, Warrant Apprehension Task Force members arrested 19-year-old Mekhi Green of Baltimore.

Baltimore Police Department detectives believe that Green shot a 22-year-old male victim while on the 4400 block of Edmondson Avenue on Feb. 26.

Detectives transported Green to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

On Feb. 26, 2024, at approximately 9:10 p.m., officers responded to the 4400 block of Edmondson Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located evidence of a shooting. Officers then received a call for a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital.

Upon arriving at the area hospital, officers observed an unidentified male suffering from numerous gunshot wounds.

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
