The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the afternoon on Jan. 22.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 3500 block of Powhatan Avenue at approximately 3:05 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found 26-year-old Christian Williams suffering from multiple gunshots to the body.
Medics took the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.
