Baltimore Police Department Upgrades 2022 Investigation into Skeletal Remains to a Homicide Case

On Sept. 4, 2022, at approximately 8:52 a.m., Western District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to a home on the 1700 block of West Lexington Street for a report of human remains at the location.

Once there, officers located, in the rear yard of a vacant home, skeletal human remains.

The victim’s remains were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office, where on June 26, the death was ruled a homicide caused by trauma.

The victim has only been identified as an adult male at this time.
