A 33-year-old non-fatal shooting defendant had his trial scheduled for October before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn on Sept. 27.
The defendant is charged with possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, having a handgun on his person, handgun in a vehicle, discharging firearms, reckless endangerment, and illegal possession of ammo in connection to an incident on Feb. 22.
The defendant was represented by defense attorney T. Wray McCurdy.
During court proceedings, the prosecutor asked for the case to be reset due to evidence being recently turned over this Tuesday morning.
Judge Phinn rejected the request and proceeded to schedule the defendant’s trial for Oct. 3.
