On Sept. 21, a Baltimore man charged with homicide had his case rescheduled for Thursday to pick a trial date before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn.
Brandon Beshore is charged with first-degree murder, the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to injure, and making a false statement to the police in connection to an incident on June 21, 2021.
According to CBS Baltimore, Beshore was arrested on June 21, 2021, after officers saw him allegedly leaving the scene on a bike. Police were called to the 1900 block of Belair Road around 8 a.m., where they found an unresponsive man suffering from several stab wounds.
The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he later died.
Prosecutors offered a plea of life for first-degree murder, which they informed the court had yet to be approved by the State’s Attorney Office.
Beshore and his defense counsel Natalie Finegar, rejected the offer.
Beshore’s next hearing to pick a trial date is scheduled for Sept. 22.
