The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the morning of July 30.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 1600 block of W. North Avenue around 8:32 a.m. for a shot spotter alert, where a 58-year-old man was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the 1800 block of North Mount Street.
Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
