The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the afternoon of Oct. 21.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 1000 block of N. Calhoun Street at 4:30 p.m. for a shot spotter alert, where 40-year-old David Braxton was found, seated in a car, suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Shock Trauma, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after 5 p.m.
Homicide detectives were summoned and have assumed control of the investigation. At this time, detectives have no information about a suspect or motive.
