The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the late evening of Sept. 29.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 1200 block of W. North Avenue for a shot spotter alert at 10:14 p.m. Once police arrived they found a 52-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot to the thigh.
The victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
Western District Shooting detectives were summoned and assumed control over the investigation.
