The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the early morning hours of Aug. 18.
According to a news release, officers were patrolling the area when they heard gunfire on the 5400 block of Radecke Avenue around 1:10 a.m., where a 45-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot to the hip.
The victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.
Northeast District Shooting detectives were summoned and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone that has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at (410)396-2444.
