The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening of Aug. 22.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 5600 block of Woodmount Avenue around 10:37 p.m. for a shooting, where a 52-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot to the abdomen.
The victim was transported by medics to an area hospital with what appears to be a non-life-threatening injury.
Northeast District shooting detectives responded and are investigating this shooting.
