The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the afternoon of Aug. 22.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 2400 block of Loyola Southway around 12:10 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where 28-year-old Elontae Walker was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.
