Baltimore Man Shot and Killed on Park Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the early morning hours of Aug. 15. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 300 block of Park Avenue around 12:49 a.m. to investigate reports of a shooting, where 35-year-old Eric Plater was found suffering from gunshot wounds. 

The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by ambulance and succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.

Homicide investigators were summoned and assumed control over the investigation.  Anyone that has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at (410)396-2100.
