The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the evening of June 22.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 1900 block of Belair road around 7:25 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where 29-year-old Markeece Jordan was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
The medics took the victim to John Hopkins hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after succumbing to his injuries.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2100.
