The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the afternoon of July 9.
According to a news release, officers were patrolling the 2700 block of Jefferson Street around 4:53 p.m. when they were flagged down by a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers immediately rendered aid until medics arrived and transported the 43-year-old male victim to an area hospital for treatment.
The victim is currently listed in stable condition, said police.
