The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening of July 26. 

According to a news release, officers were called to an area hospital around 6:32 p.m. for reports of a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment, where a 39-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot to his left leg.

The victim’s injuries are not life threatening.

Western District shooting detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.

Detectives have located a crime scene in the intersection of Smallwood Avenue and Hollins Street.
