The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the morning of Oct. 17.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to an area hospital at 10.37 a.m. for reports of a walk-in shooting victim, where a 30-year-old man was found suffering from an apparent gunshot to the hand.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in the 1500 block of Russell Street, during a dispute.
