The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the late evening of Aug. 20.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 3500 block of E. Northern Parkway around 11:52 p.m. for a shooting accident, where a car was found crashed into a pole and the driver had been shot.
The victim, 46-year-old Vincent Omalu was transported, by medics, to John Hopkins Hospital at Bayview, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Homicide detectives responded out and are investigating this murder.
