The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the late evening of Sept. 21.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the parking lot of 4300 block of Windsor Mill Road around 10:56 p.m. for reports of a car on fire, where officers were met by Baltimore City firefighters who had already extinguished the fire.
Inside the vehicle, the body of a 39-year-old man was found inside.
The victim had been shot. Homicide detectives responded to the location and assumed control over the investigation.
