Baltimore Man Fatally Shot on N. Payson Street

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the early morning of July 1. 

According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 500 block of North Payson Street around 12:02 a.m. to investigate a possible hit and run accident, where 44-year-old Reginald Johnson was suffering from multiple gunshots to the body. 

The medics took the victim to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
