Attempted homicide defendant Larry Alexander Lee Jr. was denied bail on April 1 for his alleged involvement in a shooting last October.

The 28-year-old defendant is charged with first and second-degree attempted murder, first and second-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, and having a handgun on his person.

On Friday, the prosecution told Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Philip S. Jackson that around 5 a.m. on Oct. 13, 2021, Lee allegedly fired seven gunshots, some of which hit the victim in the face and right arm. The prosecutor said Lee and the victim knew one another and that the victim’s sister saw the defendant at the scene.

When Lee was arrested by Baltimore Police Department officers, she said, he was found with two firearms in his pockets.

Defense attorney Roland Harris added that the victim was found with bullets in his pockets.

Judge Jackson denied Lee’s bail.

The defendant is currently scheduled to appear in reception court on April 18.
