An attempted murder defendant rejected a plea of life on Sept. 23, scheduling his trial for March 2023 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
Nyeki Glover is charged with first and second-degree attempted murder, first and second-degree assault, using a firearm during a felony violent crime, having a handgun on his person, having a handgun in a vehicle, reckless endangerment, and discharging firearms in connection to an incident on Sept. 17, 2021.
Defense counsel Koryn High and her client, rejected a plea of life, suspending all but 25 years with five years supervised probation for first-degree attempted murder; and a concurrent sentence of 20 years with the first five years without the possibility of parole for use of a firearm during a felony violent crime.
Glover’s trial is scheduled for March 6, 2023 and is expected to last five days with Judge Christopher Panos presiding.
