On June 21, an attempted murder defendant’s trial was postponed because the defendant is being hospitalized.
Allen Brown, 30, is charged with conspiracy of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, two counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm during a violent crime, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, having a handgun within 100 yards, having a handgun on his person, and discharging a gun within the city in connection to an incident on Aug. 3, 2019.
During court proceedings, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn listened as Brown’s defense attorney, Brandon Mead, requested to postpone the trial due to the defendant being hospitalized.
Brown’s next hearing is scheduled for Oct.12.
