A 23-year-old defendant had his trial scheduled for January before Baltimore Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn on Oct. 4.
David Wilson is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first-degree assault, use of a firearm in a felony violent crime, possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, possession of a firearm with a drug conviction, having a loaded handgun on his person, reckless endangerment, and discharging a firearm to an incident that occurred on Feb. 16.
In September, Judge Phinn postponed scheduling a trial due to the court being unable to locate Wilson’s new private defense counsel. Wilson is now represented by attorney William Gibbs.
According to the Maryland Judicial website, the defendant’s next trial is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2023.
