A 19-year-old Baltimore man charged with attempted murder had his case nolle pros by the prosecutor on Oct. 4 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lynn S. Mays.
Marcellus Walls is charged with first and second-degree attempted murder, first and second-degree assault, use of a firearm during a felony violent crime, possession of a firearm as a minor, having a handgun on his person, reckless endangerment, and discharging firearms in connection to an incident on Oct. 23, 2021.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 2300 block of Argonne Avenue at 6:40 p.m., where a victim was found suffering from a gunshot to the chest.
The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The prosecutor entered a nolle pros due to being unable to get into contact with the victim, despite having initially been in contact with them. He said he was also having trouble contacting an eye witness.
Walls was represented by defense attorney Shala Barney and Andrew Clarke.
