Arrest Made in Connection to Late October Shooting in East Baltimore

In reference to a homicide that occurred Oct. 27 on the 200 block of E. North Avenue, investigators have arrested a 34-year-old man.

On Nov. 30, investigators arrested Richard Holland Jr. without incident. He was transported to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder for the non-fatal shooting of a 31-year-old man.

At approximately 2:05 a.m. on Oct. 27, police responded to a hospital in East Baltimore, where they located the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was listed in stable condition at the time of the initial police report.
