In reference to a homicide that occurred Dec. 12 in South Baltimore, investigators have arrested a 34-year-old resident of Howard County.
Emanuel Thomas was arrested in connection to the murder of Shanelle Cawthorne, 50, who was fatally shot on the 800 block of Chesapeake Avenue.
On Dec. 26, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Thomas while on the 1200 block of E. Preston Street. Thomas was transported to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged with first- and second-degree murder and multiple handgun violations.
