The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the late evening on Jan. 15.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 900 block of Russell Street at approximately 11:10 p.m., where they found 27-year-old Kavonte Griffin suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medics took the victim to the hospital.
