A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder earlier this month in connection to a shooting in June.
According to the Baltimore Police Department, officers were called to the 1000 block of Cathedral Street around 2:45 a.m. on June 21 when they found a 33-year-old victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Following an investigation, police identified Willie James McDonald who was arrested and charged on Sept. 15. Police said McDonald was also in possession of a loaded handgun during his arrest.
McDonald is currently being held at the Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility.
