The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the late evening of July 20.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 2400 block of Winchester Street around 11:56 p.m. for a shot spotter alert, where 28-year-old Charles Saunders was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
