A Homicide on Edmondson Avenue Leaves One Victim Dead and Two Others Injured

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the early morning hours on Oct. 5. 

According to a news release, officers heard gunshot and began to canvass the area nearby, at 1:54 a.m. where 43-year-old Garcia Stevenson was found suffering from a gunshot on the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue. 

Medics were summoned and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

A short time later, a 22-year-old male and a 23-year-old male walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for gunshot wounds. The victims were also shot in the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue. 

Homicide investigators have assumed control over the investigation.  Anyone that has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at (410)396-2100.
