The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting in the afternoon on April 9.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 200 block of North Caroline Street around 3:30 p.m. to investigate a reported shooting, where they found a 27-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The medics took the victim to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Southeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
