In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Eastern District on July 16, Baltimore Police Department investigators have arrested 42-year-old Leon Spencer of Baltimore.
Investigators learned that during a verbal dispute between the two men, Spencer shot 32-year-old John Parrish while on the 3200 block of Lawnview Avenue, leaving him critically injured. Parrish never recovered from those injuries and was pronounced dead on July 18.
Leon Spencer was immediately arrested on the scene and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with first-degree murder.
