Investigation Begins in Eastern District Murder

On July 15, at approximately 1:03 a .m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of East Oliver Street for a report of a shooting.

Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located 27-year-old Ely Williams-Harr suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased on July 18.

Investigators believe Williams-Harr was shot on the 1500 block of North Potomac Street and then drove to the 1500 block of East Oliver Street.
