On July 14, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 1700 block of North Carey Street to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 43-year-old Brandon Tucker suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital listed in critical condition.
Western District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Western District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2477.

Update: Tucker was pronounced dead on July 18. Police believe he was shot on the 1800 block of North Carey Street.
