A jury delivered a guilty verdict on June 28 for a 28-year-old man who allegedly admitted to killing a Baltimore rapper but pleaded not guilty to the crime.
Earl Lee was found guilty of first-degree murder, firearm use in a felony or violent crime and firearm possession with a felony conviction in connection to the murder of 28-year-old David Boykin, also known as President Davo.
During testimony, Lee and defense attorney Paul Kramer watched as the prosecution played video of Lee’s interrogation and confession to killing Boykin, who Lee accused of threatening his children and putting a $50,000 bounty on him.
A sentencing date has not yet been scheduled in front of Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Kendra Y. Ausby.
