On June 26, at approximately 9:36 p.m., Northwest District officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Dolfield Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.
Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the location and observed 24-year-old Kendall Montgomery suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma, where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
