Aisquith Street Shooting Injures Two

On June 11, at approximately 4:22 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 2600 block of Aisquith Street to investigate a reported shooting. 

Upon arrival, Baltimore Police Department officers located 19-year-old Deontay Towns from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Though initially listed in critical condition, he later died of his injuries.

A short time later a second female victim walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim injuries are non-life threatening. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that both victims were on the 2600 block of Aisquith Street when they were shot.

Eastern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Eastern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2433.

Update: The male victim was pronounced deceased at approximately 7:38 p.m. by hospital staff. The case has been upgraded to a homicide investigation.
