Woman Sustains Graze Wound in Northwest District Shooting

On May 29, at approximately 12:44 a.m., patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a possible walk-in shooting victim. 

Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 28-year-old woman suffering from a possible graze wound to the leg.

Investigators learned that the victim was on the 4000 block of Maine Avenue, on May 28, at approximately 8:40 p.m. when the shooting occurred.

Update: As of Aug. 14, this case was removed from BPD’s non-fatal shooting statistics because the victim was not shot.
