On May 27, at approximately 1:31 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 40-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Investigators learned the shooting occurred on the 1200 block of Ponca Street.
Southeast District detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2422 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
Update 6/26/24: Investigators have reclassified this incident as self-inflicted.
